Encouragement...
"Never stop looking for ways to use your gifts and talents to brighten the lives of others. God will use your abilities and talents in astonishing ways!" That was how I recently answered New England lifestyle blogger and entrepreneur, Sarah Pelletier, when she asked "What advice do you have for people just starting out?
It is so important to find something that you are passionate about... something that you love...something that makes your heart sing. You will know when you have found your “calling,” because your “work” will never feel like work, and you will see and experience the satisfaction and happiness it brings to others! If what you do brings glory to God, brings a smile to your face, and enriches the life of someone else, what could be better?"
A couple of years ago, I felt called to share God's Word through my art, with the intent of encouraging others. So I began pairing scripture with rural landscapes. These peaceful landscapes with their expressive skies, small cottages, stone churches, farms, and fields of flowers, seemed like the perfect match for God's reassuring words of love, hope, and peace. I am so grateful for how the Word of God lifts me and sustains me, gives me hope during the storms of life, and gives my heart a place of rest, regardless of my external circumstances. So, it is with a sense of gratitude and thanksgiving, that I share this scripture art. May it encourage and bless you, as well as those around you. May it calm your soul. May it be a gentle reminder that the Lord is always with us, and that He is always faithful. May your heart be lifted, knowing that He is always able to carry us and shelter us through any season of life.
